Alex Pereira was finally the victim of Israel Adesanya’s vengeance.
The former middleweight champion of the UFC, Adesanya, has a losing record against Pereira in both kickboxing and MMA. With two brutal right punches that landed flush on Pereira’s chin, the “Last Stylebender” recaptured his belt, compelling the referee to call time on the contest.
Gilbert Burns defeated Jorge Masvidal in the co-main event with ease, taking the victory by unanimous decision. Because of this, “Gamebred” took off his gloves and declared his retirement from the game.
