Transfer Talk: Arsenal lining up move for Lazio’s Milinkovic-Savic

According to Corriere dello Sport, Arsenal may be able to sign Sergej Milinkovic-Savic this summer for a reasonable amount of £35 million.
According to the source, Lazio has dropped their asking price for the 27-year-old Serbian international, whose contract with the club is slated to expire in the next 18 months. This might drive Arsenal to offer money for Milinkovic-Savic. Arsenal, who are expected to qualify for the Champions League next season, are said to be major admirers of the midfielder and are planning to add players to their roster in the offseason. The midfielder is sought after by numerous clubs around Europe, but the Premier League appears to be his most likely destination.

Milinkovic-Savic, who has also been connected to moves to West Ham United and Newcastle United.

Being one of the top midfielders in the world this season, contributing to 12 goals from the position, Milinkovic-Savic is set to leave Lazio in the summer as the Serie A club looks to maximize the value of its star player.

Declan Rice of West Ham is one of the midfielders with whom Arsenal has recently been associated.
