LIVE Transfer Talk: Timo Werner has been linked with a move away from Chelsea, with Juventus and RB Leipzig being possible move

Timo Werner reveals he has no regrets in choosing to join Chelsea over Liverpool

Timo Werner’s exit from Chelsea appears to be on the cards, with Juventus surfacing as a prospective bidder for the 26-year-old attacker, according to Sky Sports Italy.

Juventus boss Max Allegri has included the Germany international in a list of aggressive transfer prospects, but his top aim remains to secure a permanent deal for Atletico Madrid’s Alvaro Morata. The story also names Anthony Martial of Manchester United, while insiders informed ESPN last week that the star will remain at Old Trafford.

Following the acquisition of Raheem Sterling, Werner hinted at a transfer away from Stamford Bridge to obtain more playing time ahead of the World Cup in November, prompting manager Thomas Tuchel to criticize his player’s reaction.

Werner had previously been offered to his former club RB Leipzig in a player swap for Nordi Mukiele, as Chelsea attempted to thwart Mukiele’s impending move to PSG. According to Sky Sports Germany, the Bundesliga club is still interested in Werner returning to Leipzig on a season-long loan.
