Sky Sports Deutschland reports that other European elite clubs are showing interest in Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard. There are rumours that Barcelona, Manchester City, Real Madrid, and Manchester United covet the 27-year-old.
The Bundesliga champions’ position appears to have altered, despite earlier this season having talks about a potential new deal. In exchange for a transfer price of about €40 million, Bayern is now willing to let Pavard leave his contract with just one year remaining.
This season, Pavard made 42 appearances for Bayern, and he has continued to draw interest from clubs with his versatility, which has allowed him to shine when used as a right-back or centre-back, retaining the form that he has repeated at the international level with France.
