“Call Me Every Day” With WizKid Or “Nobody Has To Know” With Davido — Which Chris Brown Collab Do You Prefer?

Chris Brown linked up with Davido on what is perhaps Davido’s tenth feature this year.

The new song, “Nobody Has To Know” is off Chris Brown’s “Breezy” album deluxe released last week. This is Chris Brown and Davido’s second collab since 2019’s “Blow My Mind,” a song that did blow our minds.

While “Nobody Has To Know” hasn’t been given the treatment Chris Brown’s earlier single with WizKid (“Call Me Every Day”) received, you can’t help but compare the two songs. After all, they both feature one of Africa’s biggest musical exports over the years.

Nobody Has To Know” is, as expected, afro-R&B. It has the kind of afro beat that’s reminiscent of the early afro-pop days. The song is a duet between Chris and Davido and it has one of the best David performances you’ve ever heard.

Yes, there are actually moments when you won’t be sure if it’s Davido singing or it’s Chris Brown. Surely, this song wouldn’t be this interesting with one of them out. This is a perfect collaboration.

That makes you wonder which duo made the better song. Chris Brown and Davido or Chris Brown and Wizkid. Personally, if I had to pick I’d go for “Nobody Has To Know” without a doubt.

Well, over to you now.
